02The Role

Own revenue for your region. As Area Sales Manager, you’ll build and manage the distributor network, lead a team of Field Sales Officers, and drive SmiloShine’s expansion into new cities and channels.

03Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve regional primary and secondary sales targets and own the region’s revenue plan
  • Appoint, develop, and manage distributors, super-stockists, and channel partners
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of Field Sales Officers; set beat plans and review performance
  • Expand coverage into new cities, retail chains, pharmacies, and dental clinics
  • Negotiate trade schemes; manage credit and collections discipline in the region
  • Plan and execute local marketing activations with the brand team
  • Track competitor pricing, schemes, and launches; report market intelligence
  • Prepare region MIS, sales forecasts, and growth plans for management review

04Skills & Competencies

  • Proven channel / distributor sales track record in FMCG, OTC healthcare, or personal care
  • Team leadership and territory planning capability
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills (Excel / CRM)
  • Extensive travel readiness within the region

05Qualification

  • Graduate (MBA preferred)
  • 2–6 years in FMCG / healthcare channel sales, with at least 1 year handling a team or large territory

06Career Growth

  • Path to Business Development Manager / Regional Head as we expand pan-India
